Hannah Backman, PMHNP Intern

Hannah Backman is a psychiatric nurse practitioner student who is originally from Bangalor, India. She is passionate about helping others and has an unquenchable thirst for knowledge. She attended the University of Utah, completing degrees in speech pathology and nursing. She also completed a master’s in gerontology and worked for over a decade in cardiology and hospice to provide compassionate care for her patients.

Hannah is currently nearing the completion of a doctorate in nursing practice with a focus on psychiatric mental health, Hannah has found immense fulfillment in her clinical experience at Mountain View Family Therapy. She is deeply committed to mental health care, continually striving to support and uplift those in need.
Hannah’s life is enriched by her loving family—her supportive husband and two children. She cherishes time spent cooking, gardening, biking, camping, hiking, traveling, reading, praying, and meditating.
