Kasandra is a Certified Social Worker who specializes in seeing Teens and Adults. Her skill set includes EMDR, Mindfulness, Acceptance & Commitment, CBT, DBT, and Solution-Focused therapy approaches. She believes in understanding a person’s strengths and helping to build upon them.
Kasandra received her Bachelors degree from the University of Montana in Political Science. After graduating, she spent 2 years as an AmeriCorps VISTA. Later, Kasandra spent 8 years working in the ski resort hospitality industry in Colorado. Wanting to do more, she studied Psychology at the University of Arizona before graduating from the University of Utah with her Master of Social Work.
Kasandra is driven by a desire to help people who may be struggling with anxiety, depression, life changes, trauma, and abuse. She seeks to help her clients develop the skills they need to navigate life. She understands that life experience is unique to that individual and approaches each client from a place of compassion and a desire to understand. Kasandra’s hope for her clients is to find balance within their mental, spiritual, emotional, and physical selves.
Kasandra was born and raised in Western Montana. She is an outdoor person at heart and enjoys skiing in the winter and mountain biking in the summer. She and her partner stay busy with their two rescue dogs, Pickles and Mojo.
