Debra is a therapist Intern, starting her final year of the Master of Social Work degree at Brigham Young University. She previously received her Bachelor’s degree from BYU-Idaho in Social Work. Debra deeply believes in the inherent strength that every individual has, and that each person’s life is a continuing story of much value and worth. She believes in helping clients find, understand, and uplift their values as they work together to find greater peace through healing from past trauma and addressing current difficulties.

Debra believes in creating a safe and welcoming space for every client as they work towards their goals. She uses a person-centered approach while incorporating other modalities such as motivational interviewing, cognitive behavioral therapy, and mindfulness.

Debra loves to run, spend time outside, and loves to journal and think deeply. She loves spending time with her family and friends where there is always an abundance of laughter and joy.
