Maria Johnson, LCSW

Maria is a skilled Licensed Clinical Social Worker. She has over 20 years of experience working with individuals and families that face a variety of issues. Her approach is one of active engagement, attentive listening, and empathic support.

Maria is also EMDR trained. Her overall philosophy is one of unconditional positive regard and a belief that individuals can overcome the challenges they are facing. She strives to understand each person’s concerns, needs, and goals for therapy. She creates an environment where people have the freedom to explore their thoughts and feelings in a safe, nonjudgmental environment.
