Tracie Penunuri, Owner/Founder

Tracie Penunuri, LCSW

Owner/Founder

Tracie Penunuri is the owner and founder of Mountain View Family Therapy.  Tracie started MVFT in 2017 with the goal of providing high quality mental health services while balancing life as a mom with four children still at home.  She also wanted to provide flexible employment opportunities for other parents looking to use their degrees while managing family life.

Tracie is a licensed clinical social worker who graduated with bachelor and master’s degrees in social work from Brigham Young University.  She has spent the past 20+ years working with children, teens and adults navigating adoption, foster care, trauma and abuse, mood disorders and many other family and individual difficulties.  She has also taught graduate-level social work courses at the University of Utah and has also collaborated on a variety of writing, podcast and webinar projects.  Tracie loves to consult with other group practice owners who are seeking support in improving their systems, workflows and agency offerings.  She enjoys reading and traveling in her spare time.
