Maria Johnson, LCSW

Maria is a compassionate Licensed Clinical Social Worker who has spent more than 25 years supporting individuals and families through life’s challenges. She brings an empathetic, grounded presence to her work, meeting each person with genuine curiosity, attentive listening, and heartfelt care.

She is trained in both EMDR and ART, which allows her to offer effective, evidence‑based approaches for healing from trauma and other difficult experiences. Maria believes deeply in each person’s capacity to grow, heal, and move forward, and she approaches her work with unconditional positive regard.

Maria takes the time to truly understand what each person needs from therapy—their concerns, their hopes, and their goals. She creates a warm, safe, and nonjudgmental space where people can explore their thoughts and emotions freely, at their own pace. Her intention is always to help clients feel supported, understood, and empowered as they navigate their path toward emotional well‑being.
