Bekah is a therapist who recently completed her Master of Social Work degree with the University of Nevada, Reno. She previously received her Bachelor’s degree from BYU in Human Development.
Bekah has a passionate belief that every human is inherently, immeasurably, and equally valuable. She believes in incorporating the unique strengths of each of her clients as they work together to create greater happiness, heal from past trauma, and experience inner peace.
Bekah believes in creating a safe and compassionate space for every client as they work towards their goals. She uses a person-centered approach incorporating cognitive behavioral therapy, cognitive processing therapy, dialectical behavior therapy, mindfulness, and self-compassion. She has experience working with clients with a background of trauma, abuse, anxiety, and depression. She loves working with people of all ages and currently works with children, teens, and adults.
Bekah loves playing in the ocean, eating delicious food, and spending time with her husband, children and friends. She also loves hiking, climbing, and skiing in the mountains.
