Maylin Worlton, CSW

Therapist: children, adults
Appointments: in-person and telehealth
Location: St. George

Maylin graduated with a masters degree in social work from Utah Valley University. During school, she worked in community programs built to strengthen family relationships. She also has several years of experience working with individuals on the autism spectrum. Maylin uses a trauma informed therapy approach and uses elements of EMDR, mindfulness, cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy, and solutions-focused therapy.

Maylin is passionate about helping her clients identify and develop tools to decrease suffering and increase resilience, satisfaction, and overall well-being. Through a trusting relationship and commitment from clients, Maylin will help her clients develop a better understanding of themselves and gain confidence in their own abilities outside of therapy. At times it may feel out of reach, but happiness is not far. A life with happiness is an inherent right, something that we all deserve, no matter how unattainable it may feel. Your happiness matters to me because it is integral in obtaining self-confidence. Through therapy together we can create small moments that bring you happiness and build upon these to form a life that makes you happy and confident.

She enjoys spending her free time doing calligraphy, completing puzzles, and quilting. Maylin often spends time outdoors with her husband and daughter kayaking, hiking, fishing, and camping.
